As a social entrepreneur I believe a life without service is a life without purpose.
No matter who we are, what we do, or where we journey…the contributions we make to organizations that are created for and dedicated to the greater good of less fortunate people, is an altruistic act that has an immeasurable impact on human kindness.
At Passionary, the wellness, eco-sustainability, and community (WEC) philosophy plays an important role in fostering the well-being of people and nature as an inseparable whole. Not only do we support cooperatives, other small businesses, and fair-trade communities in our own operations, but we also support charities in the communities that we venture. These charities, located around the world, go quietly about doing their work with the massive engines of their hearts to drive them. Here ComPassionary gives a respectful pause to highlight charities that WEC selected as a result of working with them in the communities they serve.
Destinations are a point in time. Journeys are lifelong. Under the direction of Dianne Harrison, Compassionary brings awareness to many lifelong journeys and worthwhile causes from saving sea turtles, to helping domestically abused women to funding arts programs that help underserved people. Negril Education Environment Trust
NEET is a non-profit organization based in Jamaica. NEET launched in 2003 by entrepreneur Winston Wellington who witnessed what the lack of access to educational resources was doing to his home country, Jamaica. Since then they’ve built 17 libraries and provide books and computers for each. Today, NEET is committed to programs that expand educational access for children and adults, partnerships that address or public and environmental health, and events and activities that celebrate Jamaica’s rich heritage.

Hekab Be Non-profit Library and Activity Center
The most important thing Hekab Be Biblioteca provides for the community is a free after-school program for local children. Activities incorporate English, Music, Art, Maya Culture and Language, Natural Science, Physical Education, Environmental Education, sand Organic Gardening, as well as Homework Help. Our goal is to keep the children excited about learning, and allow them to experience the richness of opportunities available to them so they will stay in school and open more possibilities for their future.

Centro Ecológico Akumal
Centro Ecológico Akumal is committed to the possibility that Akumal will emerge as an ecologically sustainable community and serve as an example for other costal communities throughout Mexico and beyond. The mission is to produce and promote strategies for ecosystem management in Akumal, through research, education, and outreach for sustainability in the Mexican Caribbean.
